The lounge (or living room) contains an open fire that burns coal or wood; three chairs and a couch seating three; a color television with excellent reception; a payphone for use by guests; a free, high speed internet connection for use by guests; and an excellent collection of local guidebooks and maps. Guests are provided with a bucket of coal when they arrive. The lounge measures 160" x 167".
High Smarber has three bedrooms. Pictured on the left above is the master bedroom, which contains a king size bed. The master bedroom measures 163" x 143". Pictured on the right above is the far bedroom, which contains two single beds measuring 34" x 81". An infant crib can be supplied on a week's prior notice. The far bedroom measures 163" x 126".
Pictured on the left above is the middle bedroom, which contains two single beds. The middle bedroom measures 163" x 105". To reach the far bedroom, guests must go through the middle bedroom.
The bathroom contains a large, old fashioned tub; a modern power shower; a sink; a shaver point; a heated towel rail; and a toilet.

High Smarber contains a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. (There is a clothesline on the patio.)
There is ample parking in the garage and on the concrete apron in front of the garage.
The nearest shopping is in Reeth, which is five miles away. There are two village shops and a bakery located there.
In Leyburn, which is thirteen miles away, there is a terrific local supermarket, Campbell's, which has an excellent butcher and delicatessen counter as well as all the essentials. Campbell's also has a wonderful wine shop upstairs, in which regular wine tastings are held. And in Catterick, which is seventeen miles away, there is a Tesco.
